Getting older isn't much fun...
Admittedly i'm only 40 but that means i'm just starting to feel it creeping up on me.
I sure don't feel as agile & mobile as i was at 21 thats for sure.
Ive worked as a personal trainer for all my adult life, so i'm well aware of the importance of mobility & flexibility. Ive studied it & i preach it to my clients
Heres the problem...
Even though I go through regular stretching routines with my clients, its something I've always neglected on myself.
Ive never been super flexible, i don't believe you have to be to feel good.
Ive always exercised & maintained a good level of strength & general fitness but this past few years i have slowly started to feel a little more stiff, slow & achey as well as more tired & mentally drained as a result of feeling physically drained.
Its definitely beginning to slow me down in all aspects of my life both physically & mentally

Who is this program for?

What will be expected of me?
Literally turn up in your PJ's (if you like) & follow along as best as you can.
Try to make it every morning, make a new positive habit that can have big knock on effects & lead to more positive behaviours.
Its not about being able to do the splits, i certainly can't & probably never will. Its about improving & starting to improve how you feel
How long are the sessions?
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. We will do roughly 30 minutes mobility & finish with 10-15 minutes of something to get the heart rate going
What if I can’t join the live sessions?
Sessions are currently 7am - 07:45am each morning UK time. If you can't make them then no problem. All the sessions will be live streamed in the telegram group for you to complete at what ever time is good for you.
Do I need any equipment?
You don't NEED any equipment, A comfortable mat would be nice but not essential. However a foam roller would definitely be beneficial & will be a part of some sessions.
Aside from that a bath towel would be useful & possibly a raised step (your sofa will do) occasionally but these are by no means essential
What types of exercises will we be doing?
I’m not very flexible—can I still do this?
Absolutely! The sessions are designed for all ability levels, and modifications are provided to ensure you can move at your own pace.
